What is IR 4.0 in Malaysia?
The Malaysian Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) tabled the National Policy for Industry 4.0 to help advance the countries’ businesses and factories. This will ideally help the local industries to increase productivity, efficiency, quality, and to also develop new skills and talent with the people.
We have entered the fourth industrial revolution, also called Industry 4.0. The fourth industrial revolution is characterized by an increasing use of automation and smart machines along with smart factories, which helps to improve the efficiency and productivity of the production process.

- Justify the importance of people’s capability and preparation for effective integration.
